Highland Field Sports Fair donates £600 to support the Armed Forces community
The annual Highland Field Sports Fair Ltd has generously donated £600 to the leading Armed Forces charity Poppyscotland.
The family-friendly fair, which is held every year at the Moy Estate and has been running since 1977, is a non-profit event for the local community. Visitors can enjoy a range of activities and entertainment including clay pigeon shooting, archery and pony rides, all for a good cause.
Danny Streames, Community Fundraiser at Poppyscotland, said:
“We’re thrilled to yet again have the support of the Highland Field Sports Fair. Last year, the committee generously donated £500 to Poppyscotland and, despite the mud and changeable weather on the day, we’ve now received £1,100 thanks to kind-hearted fair-goers.
“The Highland Field Sports Fair is a fantastic way for families to have a fun-filled day out, while raising vital funds for charity at the same time. Thanks to events like this, we can provide life-changing support to our Armed Forces community all-year round. That’s why this kind of generosity means so much to us, and we look forward to working with the fair in the future.”
