Poppyscotland wristbands

Wristbands1                    Wristbands2

Volunteering to collect during the Scottish Poppy Appeal remains the best way you can take your support for the Armed Forces community to the next level.  However, we realise that this is not practical for everyone.  That is why we make boxes of 50 Poppyscotland wristbands available to supporters to sell to their friends, family and colleagues.  Each wristband costs £2, which means selling a box of 50 will generate £100.

Once you have completed the form below we will send out an application form by email.  On receipt of this we’ll then issue a box of 50 wristbands for you to sell during the Scottish Poppy Appeal period.  At the end of the Appeal all you need to do is send us the money you have raised, along with any unsold wristbands.

Before applying to sell wristband, there are a few things we ask you to consider:

  1. Wristbands are an important addition to the Scottish Poppy Appeal but they should not be seen as a replacement to tradition paper poppies, which still account for nearly two-thirds of our income.
  2. Please only sell wristbands to your immediate community of friends, family and colleagues. Please do not approach supermarkets, shopping centres, etc. We have a network of more than 400 local Poppy Appeal Area Organisers who already arrange collections in many of these areas and it is very important that well intended efforts of those selling wristbands don’t cut across relationships that our Area Organisers have already established.
  3. Please only sell wristbands for £2. If someone would like to make a donation over and above this they are welcome to do so, but please do not increase the asking price of the wristbands.
  4. After Armistice Day on Friday 11th November, please make payment and/or return unsold wristbands as quickly as possible. The quicker you can do this, the sooner we can get the money to the people who urgently need it.

Please complete the form below to register your interest in selling wristbands.  Alternatively contact us at wristbands@poppyscotland.org.uk.  Thanks for your support!
