Edinburgh Poppy Day

Scotland’s capital city will be awash with poppies on Thursday 3rd November.  Our fourth annual Edinburgh Poppy Day will see volunteer collectors take to the streets, transport hubs and shopping centres across the city.

The 2015 Edinburgh Poppy Day raised more than £10,000 and we’re hoping to smash that total this year.  But we need more volunteers.  We need you.

Did you know that a volunteer collector with a tin can raise up to 50 times more than a static tin?  Even a couple of hours can make a life-changing difference to someone in the Armed Forces community.

St Andrews Square in the city centre will provide a focal point for Edinburgh Poppy Day where there will be live entertainment.  BFBS Radio will also be broadcasting live to serving personnel across the globe.  There will be Poppy-Up Shops, military vehicles and fun fundraising challenges dotted throughout the city creating a real sense of occasion.  However, the most crucial thing of all is to ensure we have as many collectors as possible, and that is where YOU come in.

If you, your friends and/or your colleagues fancy getting involved please complete the form below and we will be in touch with you directly.
