How your donations help

Poppyscotland provides life-changing support to the Armed Forces community. The services that your donations to the Scottish Poppy Appeal enable us to fund can be broadly split into seven areas:

Tailored Support and Funding

We tailor all our support and funding to meet the needs of the Armed Forces community, adapting to match an individual’s requirements as they change over time. Find out more by clicking here.

We put those in the Armed Forces community in touch with the right people via a dedicated helpline (0808 800 1007), specially trained advisors and at our welfare centre in Inverness. Find out more by clicking here.

We offer a range of services for veterans, from re-training through to helping those detached from the workplace. Find out more by clicking here.

We help veterans live independently by providing occupational therapist assessments, home adaptations and mobility aids. Find out more by clicking here.

Breaks & Respite

Poppy Breaks provide much-needed respite for those in the Armed Forces community who wouldn’t otherwise have the means or opportunity. Find out more by clicking here.

We fund home improvements and adaptations as well as support specialist housing organisations. Find out more by clicking here.

Mental Health

We work with other specialist organisations to provide advice and support to veterans suffering from mental health difficulties. Find out more by clicking here.
