1. Participation in Poppy Raffles costs £1 per entry.
2. Proceeds from our joint raffle campaigns with The Royal British Legion will be shared between The Royal British Legion, Charity No. 219279 and Poppyscotland, Scottish Charity No. SC014096.
3. In order to promote responsible gambling, a maximum of 20 raffle entries may be bought by a new raffle player (44 tickets for previous players). Any requests to purchase entries above these limits may be considered at the discretion of the Promoter. Please telephone 0131 550 1567 or email k.r-mitchell@poppyscotland.org.uk and provide us with your telephone number so that we can contact you.
4. The Raffle is open to all residents of Great Britain and Northern Ireland over the age of 16. Underage gambling is an offence. Online entry is open to residents of Great Britain only.
5. It is an offence for raffle tickets or entries to be sold to, or by a person under 16 years of age. Players may be subject to an external age verification check. If your details don’t pass this check, you will be contacted by Poppyscotland by either phone or email to verify your information. Any person found to be under 16 years of age automatically forfeits the right to any prize and will have any monies paid in relation to the lottery returned to them.
6. Ticket payments can be made by Direct Debit, postal cheque, postal order or by Mastercard or Visa. CAF cheques or vouchers may not be used to purchase tickets.
7. Raffle entries must be purchased by the published closing date. Late entries will be transferred to the next raffle.
8. The draw will take place on the published draw date. Winning entries will be randomly drawn in the presence of at least 2 witnesses.
9. There are three draws available during the year. The next 3 draws will take place on 30 September 2016 (Summer Draw), 13 January 2017 (Winter Draw), 7 July 2017 (Spring Draw) The first prize in the Winter and Spring Draws is £20,000 and £15,000 in the Summer Draws. Other prizes are:

• £5,000

• £1,000

• 2 x £500

• 45 x £25

• 200 x £10

10. The first 3 winners will be notified by phone where a phone number has been provided on the entry form. Prize cheques are sent within 28 working days of the draw to the name and address of the registered owners of all the winning entries.
11. The only prize alternatives are those stated by the Promoter. No interest is payable on prizes and the Promoter is not responsible for any delay in bank payments. The selection of cash prize alternatives will be at the final discretion of the Promoter.

To request a winner’s list by post, please send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to “Winners List”, Poppy Raffle, PO Box 975, Aylesford, Kent ME29 7XG.



Entrants agree to Poppyscotland and The Royal British Legion’s use of the information they provide in accordance with the current data protection regulations.

Poppyscotland and The Royal British Legion will comply fully and with all aspects of the Data Protection Act 1998 and will process all Personal Data (as defined in the Act) in compliance with all applicable laws, enactments, regulations, orders, standards/guidelines and other similar instruments.

The parties acknowledge that Poppyscotland has provided, and will continue to provide, TRBL with access to the Poppyscotland Data to enable the parties to jointly manage and promote the Raffles.

Poppyscotland is the “Data Controller” of the Poppyscotland Data and The Royal British Legion is the “Data Processor” of the Poppyscotland Data, as such terms are defined in the Data Protection Act 1998.

14. Entrants accept that they may be required to have their photograph taken should they win a prize for possible inclusion on our website and in lottery marketing materials.
15. No liability is accepted for the loss, theft or delayed receipt of any communication sent by post.
16. Raffle ticket payments received in advance of a draw can be identified within the charity’s bank account as such, so that should a draw be cancelled, entrants may be refunded.
17. The Promoter’s decisions made according to the rules shall, once made be final and binding.
