RFEA provides career advice and have specialist case working support for those who need it.  They have thousands of job opportunities sourced for the aspirations and skills of ex forces men and women.  Register here and they will contact you directly.



X-Forces and Poppyscotland collectively offer joint Enterprise and Self-Employment support across Scotland.

X-Forces is a social enterprise that offers specialist enterprise training, advice, mentoring and business start-up services for the Armed Forces community nationwide.



If you are interested in working for a charity or a community group, improving your skills and gaining valuable work experience, SCVO’s Community Jobs Scotland has paid vacancies across Scotland.

All vacancies offer at least the National Minimum Wage for a period of 26 weeks to one year.  Vacancies are wide ranging and include youth work, sports organisations, warehousing, social care and conservation projects.

To be eligible to apply you need to be:

  • 16-29 years old
  • Have served in H.M. Forces
  • Be unemployed and not currently participating on the Work Programme, Work Choice or Community Work Placements
