Disclosure Service

If a potential employer were to ask you for a criminal record disclosure, would you be prepared?  Use our Criminal Convictions Disclosure Service to find out if, when and how to disclose.

Increase your chances of securing a job and a better future by being prepared to genuinely and accurately share details of your unspent convictions, and the circumstances around them.

The Criminal Conviction Disclosure Service can provide:

  • An increased awareness of when a conviction is deemed ‘spent’ or ‘unspent’ under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act
  • A personalised letter of disclosure
  • Enhanced interview skills and confidence in disclosing details of conviction with prospective employers
  • An awareness of appropriate and inappropriate sectors to approach for employment, depending on the nature of the conviction

This service is available throughout Scotland.  To find out more call 0131 550 1568 or email d.coll@poppyscotland.org.uk
